The squeak sounds you hear are not in the original sound once downloaded. They are a strange artifact on this websites playback widget i think. 13 seconds of rain i quickly recorded today at my back door. Recorded with a zoom h5.

Recorded this while going to the loo in a camping trip. The door was pretty creaky so i decided to record it because it could be a good sound effect. Of course i didn't have any equipment with me so the sound was recorded on my phone, which is why it's a bit echoey and shabby. A wine glass made to resonate by running a wet finger around the rim of the glass. This recording has slight clicks as the camera uses the automatic gain control. I would not recommend this for serious recording. Recorded on a canon d550 camera.

A small, older elevator moves up 3 floors. Including the sound of the elevator door closing and opening. Recorded from the inside of the cabine. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.
